A flagship university adds plaza space to greet its newest athletic arena and event center.

The building’s north plaza invites game day events and daily respite activities, providing the university with a social spaces and informal seating that can be programmed for food trucks and tailgates for the neighboring Moody Arena. Planting and rain gardens announce the streetscape and manage stormwater on a constrained steep site.
