Red River Street

University of Texas at Austin
Austin, Texas

A realigned major campus street creates a new university standard for walking and bicycling.

The reconstruction of Red River and Robert Dedman Streets through the University of Texas campus connects the new Moody Arena and Darryl K. Royal Stadium. This project provides the university’s first grade-separated bike lanes and improves the pedestrian experience for visitors to the sports facilities and Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library.

Work completed at Asakura Robinson. Brendan Wittstruck was the Principal in Charge from concept design through partial construction observation while employed at Asakura Robinson.
